🎣 Fall Fishing Report – New Port Richey, FL | JC Fishin Charters
As the fall weather settles in along Florida’s Gulf Coast, inshore fishing in New Port Richey is absolutely on fire! Morning water temperatures are now dipping below 80 degrees, bait is plentiful across the flats, and the fish are feeding aggressively. This cooler weather has kicked off some of the best fall fishing in Pasco County, and we’ve been putting anglers on nonstop action aboard JC Fishin Charters.
We’re catching lots of Redfish cruising the creeks and mangrove edges, feeding hard on live pilchards and shrimp. With all the bait around, we’ve been using less cut bait lately and focusing more on natural live presentations for better strikes. These fall Redfish have been schooling up and offering excellent opportunities for sight casting on calm mornings.
The Snook bite has also been hot, especially inside the New Port Richey canals and around dock lines. They’re gorging themselves on baitfish before the water cools down further, providing some epic hookups for anglers targeting trophy fish. Now’s the time to target these powerful inshore predators while they’re still in feeding mode!
We’re starting to see Speckled Sea Trout show up more consistently across the grass flats and deeper potholes, but they won’t hit full stride until the next strong cold front moves through. Once that happens, expect even more steady action across the flats for anglers using live shrimp or soft plastics under popping corks.
With cooler mornings, stable tides, and active fish, this is prime time for inshore fishing in Pasco County, Florida. Whether you’re after a trophy Redfish, Snook, or just looking for a fun family-friendly fishing trip, Captain JC will make sure you’re on the fish and having a great day on the water.

NEW REVIEW!
“JC Charter was amazing from booking to after the trip. Every step along the way couldn’t have been better. JC was amazing he really put forth so much effort to make our trip special. We went wanting to catch Red fish and boy did we ever. Not to mention both me and my girlfriend caught the biggest fish of our lives, we each caught and landed a trophy sized Snook each. I had no expectations to catch. These fish but so happy to have done so. And I can’t forget we caught Speckled sea trout and lady fish. JC is very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I will be booking another trip when I return to New Port Richey next year. If you wanna have a great trip JC is your captain, remember it’s fishing not catching and if you live to fish with a great captain JC is the guy. Fish bite when they want but it was JC who got us to them. I couldn’t be happier with our trip and those are lifetime memories of the beautiful area and the chance to catch great fish. Now stop reading reviews and just Book with JC Charters. ”
