Spring was EPIC!
I honestly didn’t realize how epic this years Spring fishing was until I looked back at it in picture form. With smiling faces, big redfish, epic Cobia sight-fishing, delicious trout, windy mornings netting bait for hours, and a little less sleep, this year’s Spring bite was one for the books. Thanks to everyone who has supported my business and can’t wait to see what next year’s spring has to offer.
While Spring is still going, the water, tides, and weather are very Summer-like. Schools of Tarpon are starting to push up this way from down south, breeder snook are making their way to the beaches, and trout and redfish all over the flats, I think it’s safe to say we are in Summer time fishing patterns. The choice of bait on these hot, cloudy, sunny, rainy days is cut mullet, pinfish, and ladyfish for chasing trout and redfish on the flats. While the snook and Tarpon will be taking a liking to live grunts and Pinfish off the beaches.
This time of the year is the best to catch that trophy fish you’ve been looking for!

“After our deep sea trip was canceled last minute with another charter, we booked an inshore fishing trip with JC Fishin Charters—and we’re so glad we did! Jason was fantastic from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, from pick-up to drop-off.
